CELESTE MALOY ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN FOR CONGRESS IN UT-02

Utah – Today, Celeste Maloy, one of Utah’s fiercest advocates, announced her candidacy for the special election to fill the vacancy of Congressman Chris Stewart. Maloy currently serves as Chief Counsel for Congressman Stewart and said her campaign will focus on continuing to get results for Utah.

“For all of my adult life, I have fought for the rights of Utahns. I know that getting results is what matters to our families and small businesses,” said Maloy. “It’s no secret that Washington is broken and Joe Biden’s presidency is a disaster, but even in a broken city I’ve been able to deliver meaningful and long lasting results for all of Utah’s Second District. That’s why I’m running for Congress.”

“In Congress, I’ll continue Congressman Stewart’s legacy of delivering conservative victories and results for our families. I’ll fight to secure our border, rein in inflation, and defend our religious liberties. I’ll also fight for Hill Air Force Base, the Great Salt Lake, and work every day to halt the federal government’s overreach into our public lands. I’ll never stop getting results for Utah families.”

Celeste Maloy is a graduate of Southern Utah University’s School of Agriculture and received her law degree from Brigham Young University. She began her career in public service as a Soil Conservationist at the United States Department of Agriculture in Beaver, Utah.

After finishing her law degree, Celeste went on to serve as a Deputy County Attorney in Washington County, a Public Lands Attorney for the Utah Association of Counties, and a Staff Attorney for the Washington County Water Conservancy District. Most recently, she has been serving the people of Utah’s Second Congressional District in her role as Chief Legal Counsel.
